Thai Yoga Massage for All

This 3,5 -hour workshop is a practical introduction to giving and receiving Thai Yoga Massage. As its name suggests, Thai Yoga massage has its roots in Ayurvedic Medicine and Yoga and has been practised for over 2000 years as a system of healing. Through a combination of gentle rocking and pulsing, acupressure along a system of energy lines and yoga-style stretches, this massage creates physical, emotional and mental balance.

Practically, we’ll be learning very effective techniques to relieve back pain, tension in shoulders, feet, hips and legs and find deep relaxation. You will take home a short sequence to use on family & friends or integrate into an existing practice. Fiona will also be sharing self-care practices, so that both giving and receiving can feel equally beneficial. 
You are fully clothed and we work through the clothing to make the massage techniques as versatile as possible, using a supportive mat on the floor.

The workshop is for everyone who’s interested in giving and receiving massage and gaining confidence in giving mindful touch. Come with a partner or friend or just bring yourself. Open to complete beginners too! The only pre-requisite is that you are able to kneel on a mat on the floor.
Enjoy Chai & vegan raw chocolate after the workshop to conclude the afternoon’s hygge. 

Fiona is from England and teaches in English, but understands and speaks Danish.
